We were at the 2011 National Convention in Chicago and would like to thank our customers for a great show!
We believe it is both a privilege and the responsibility of every auction house to attend our hobby's National Convention. Not to buy memorabilia (as a matter of fact, we didn't buy a single item), but to greet loyal and prospective customers, and to promote the company's auctions to as many collectors as possible. Some of the successes that arose for Legendary Auctions at the 2011 National are:
- Signed up many new customers who are interested in collecting Vintage Sports Cards and Memorabilia.
- Recorded the best attendance ever for our Live Auction event where -- in addition to selling some great material -- we raised $20,000 for charity.
- Greeted many of our existing customers and a number of old friends.
- Took in some great pieces for our upcoming auctions.
We're grateful to the attendees who helped make this event a success, and we look forward to seeing you all in Baltimore -- you won't be able to miss us, as we'll be manning the first booth as you walk in the door!
