Mile High Card Co. Announces An Unprecedented Auction Event, Offering Game Used Bats From Each Member Of Elusive 500 Home Run Club In March auction. To Include Ruth, Ott, Foxx, Williams, Mantle Etc.

Castle Rock, CO - The 2019 year is not even a month old and Mile High Card Company is taking the lead once again as the nation’s preeminent auction house for sports cards and memorabilia. Company President and CEO Brian Drent made the announcement that the MHCC March Auction will feature the most impressive array of game-used bats ever offered, with each and every member of the illustrious 500 home run club represented. “It’s never been done before” said Drent, “and when you go down the list of legends in the 500 home run club and see their gamers that we have to offer, well it’s really a humbling experience.”

At present, there are 27 members of the 500 home run club, with Babe Ruth earning charter membership in 1929 all the way up to David Ortiz in 2015, the club’s newest member. Each one of these home run pioneers will have a game-used bat represented in the March MHCC auction and come with an LOA from PSA/DNA - John Taube. Leading the charge is a game-used Babe Ruth club from his decade of baseball dominance (1921-31), with rookie era bats of Jimmie Foxx (1926-27), Ted Williams (1939-40 small signature), Frank Robinson (1956-57) and Reggie Jackson (1969-92). Mickey Mantle’s 1965-68 game-use bat, Willie Mays’ 1950’s club (with home run attribution), Ernie Banks’ 1969-72 bat, Eddie Mathews’ 1959-60 lumber and Hank Aaron’s 1961-67 stick are expected to be hotly contested pieces of history as well. Mel Ott, Harmon Killebrew, Willie McCovey, Barry Bonds, Ken Griffey Jr., … they’re all there. Please note that the vast majority of these bats are of special note with either exceptionally early career attribution with some of the bats being rookie era or many of the bats are from milestone events. Also featured will be game-use bats of Tony Gwynn, Derek Jeter, Pete Rose, Mike Trout, Cal Ripken Jr. and others making this event a can’t miss experience! There will be far more information to come concerning this milestone event!
