MearsUpdate: With special thanks to Daniel W. Stowell, Director/Editor of The Paper of Abraham Lincoln, Springfield, IL, new information has been brought to light with regards to lots #1 $ #2, the Abraham Lincoln signed documents. Both have been found to have been written in association with soldiers serving in the United States Colored Troops. Lot #2 was actually written to an African American soldier serving during the Civil War, and may be the only example offered for public sale.

Items pledged for this years auctions include more offerings from “The Sporting News” archives, a collection of 7,500+ fresh to the hobby golden/silver age comics, more high grade game used bats and jerseys, and several prominent collections originating directly from the estates of those individuals directly associated with professional sports.
